Pound Cake

3 sticks unsalted butter
1 8 oz cream cheese
3 cups sugar
Vanilla extract
3 cups swans down cake flour sifted
6 eggs

All ingredients need to be room temp
Preheat oven to 350º
Combine butter and cream cheese in stand mixer and cream. Add sugar one cup at a time. Mix on medium for 7 minutes. Add vanilla. Add flour one cup at a time until we’ll mixed. Then add eggs 2 at a time till mixed don’t beat eggs too long. I use a cast iron fluted cake pan. Spray with bakers joy or coat with melted butter. Put in oven and turn oven to 325º. Cook for 1 hour and 15 min then check with a tooth pick. When tooth is barley clean take out. Let cool for 10 min before dumping out.
