Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
½ to 1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon kosher salt
½ cup mini chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Place the flour in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure that the flour reaches 165°F throughout. Do not skip this step, untreated flour can contain contaminants and is not safe to eat. Cool.

In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the flour, vanilla, milk, and salt. Mix to combine.

Fold in the chocolate chips. Refrigerate until firm. Roll into 24 balls.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Personal Notes:
This is a recipe you can adapt to taste. Add in whatever you have on hand in place of the chocolate chips, such as mini marshmallows, chopped, toasted nuts, toffee pieces, rainbow sprinkles, or peanut butter chips.
