2 lb ground beef
¾ tsp baking soda + 2 Tbsp water
1½ tsp salt
2 onions, chopped
3 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes
5 cans chili beans - OR 1 large can ranch beans, 1 can black beans & 2 cans small red kidney beans

Toss beef with 2 tablespoons water, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and baking soda in bowl until thoroughly combined. Set aside for 20 minutes.
