1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
dash pepper
3/4 c. milk
1 10 1/2 oz can condensed chicken broth
2 C. cubed cooked chicken
1 C. frozen sweet peas
1 C. fresh baby carrots
1/2 C. chopped onion
1 12. oz hunger jack refrigerated flaky biscuits
poppy seeds, if desired

heat oven 375 Bake 25-30 minutes

Melt butter in ovenproof skillet, stir in flour and pepper, cook 1 minute, stir constantly, until smooth & bubbly, gradually stir in broth and milk; cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Add chicken, peas, carrots and onion; cook until hot and bubbly. Separate dough into 10 biscuits (double batch, 20 biscuits) arrange biscuits over hot chicken mixture in skillet, sprinkle with poppy seeds and bake.
