2 cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups buttermilk
4 eggs, separated
1/2 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and set aside. Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl combine milk and egg yolks. Mix together the milk mixture with dry ingredients. Stir in melted butter. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form (this will look like whipped cream). Gently fold in egg whites with batter. Pour batter onto a heated, greased waffle iron, into the center about 1" from the edge. Gently close the lid. Grease again and cook another waffle.
