1/2 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. sugar
2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (8-inch) baked pastry shell or graham cracker crust

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine and gradually cream with the sugar. When light, blend in the chocolate and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 3 minutes after each addition, using medium speed of an electric mixer. Turn into the pie shell; chill for several hours. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate curls (if desired). Another option is to blend 1 small (8 oz.) carton of Cool Whip into the chocolate mixture. It’s a rich pie!
