4 granny smith apples peeled and diced small
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons margarine
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 loaf honey cake cut into 1-inch cubes
pastry cream - whip up until stiff (3 rich's whip, 1 vanilla pudding, 1/4 cup of honey)
3 tablespoons kosher brandy

Directions:
Directions:
combine margarine, brown sugar & cinnamon in a saute pan cook over frequently stirring, cook over medium heat until ingredients are melted together. add the apples & cook until soft (5-10 min). layer trifle dish with 1/3 of the honey cake. sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of brandy. top with 1/3 of the pastry cream and 1/3 of the apples. repeat the layering process. refrigerate trifle for at least 1-8 hours and enjoy!
