"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 (21 oz.) Can Cherry Pie Filling
2 Tubes Crescent Roll dough

Frosting:
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
1-2 Tbsp. Milk
1/8 Tsp. Almond Extract (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375º. Spray regular muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Unroll individual crescent roll dough pieces and lay then in individual tins. Put the widest side of the dough in the bottom.

3. Scoop pie filling into each crescent roll dough piece. Be generous with the pie filling. It's okay if a little seeps out during baking.

4. Start folding the dough around the filling as best you can, pulling at the three corners.

5. Bake for about 13-14 minutes.

6. In a bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and the mild, until smooth. Add extract if using and continue to whisk until frosting reached desired consistency.

7. With a spoon, drizzle glaze over the warm bites.

Personal Notes:
Note: I added about 2-3 tablespoons of cherry filling into each bite and was only about to get twelve pie bites.
