¼ cup margarine or butter
1 ¼ cup shortening
1 ½ tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2 lbs. sifted powdered sugar
⅓ cup milk.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together margarine, shortening, vanilla, and salt. Add sifted powdered sugar, and milk. Beat on high speed until it looks like a stiff whipped cream. this is enough icing to ice and decorate a 2 layer 8 " cake. This icing will keep several weeks in refrigerator. Beat before using.
