½ lb. (2 sticks) real butter only
3 cups sugar
3 eggs (one at at time, gradually)
3 cups sifted flour
1 cup fresh milk, only!
1 tsp. baking powder
grated rind of one orange and or one lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the butter, sugar, eggs, one at a time. Add sifted flour, alternately with milk, add baking powder. Mix in grated rind. Put into a greased and floured bundt pan to bake. Bake at 300º for one hour. This is a luscious, light tasting, pound like cake, which makes its own unique crusty top.
