1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust Pie

1 cup white sugar
1/4 c.butter, melted
2 T. all-purpose flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp.vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Bake pie shell at 400ºF for 5 minutes. Set aside. Combine melted butter or margarine, sugar, flour, milk, vanilla, and nutmeg. Add beaten eggs, and blend well. Pour filling into partially baked pie shell. Bake at 325ºF for 45 to 55 minutes, or until an inserted knife comes out clean. Do not overcook. Makes 8 servings.
