2 lb fresh pork tenderloin cut in 3/4 inch slices
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp minced fresh parsley
1 tsp crumbed rosemary
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp each nutmeg, fresh ground black pepper
dash garlic powder
1/2 c dry white wine (the recipe calls for Japanese sake, but this may hard to come by)

Directions:

Trim every bit of fat from the pork and saute gently in butter/oil until all slices are lightly browned all over, using low heat. Add everything else and cover the pan. Simmer 30 min or until tender, over lowest heat. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and add a bit of water if needed.
