1 c. Cornmeal, plus extra for dusting
2 c. Warm Water
½ c. Molasses
5 tbsp. Butter, melted
5½ c. Flour
1 tbsp. Yeast
2½ tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a large bowl. Grease 2 bread loaf pans.
Mix together water, molasses and melted butter. Set aside. In a stand mixer with a dough hook, combine flour, yeast, salt and cornmeal. Slowly add molasses mixture and mix on medium low until dough is smooth and elastic. Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface and knead a few times. Transfer to prepared bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise 1-1½ hours. Gently press dough down to deflate. Separate dough in half. Pat out into a rectangle. Roll dough up and pinch seam closed. Place loaf seam side down in pan. Repeat with remaining dough. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Allow dough to rise at room temperature until dough is about 1" above pan.
Bake at 400º on center rack for 15 minutes. Turn down heat to 375º and bake until golden brown about 35-45 minutes. Bread will register 200º in the center. Allow bread to cool completely before serving.
