2 cups butter
4 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
4 tsp cream of tartar
7 cups flour
2 cups sliced almonds (chopped in chopper)
4 cups glazed cherries (chopped in chopper) OR fruit blend from Bulk Barn

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 9x9 metal pan with foil. Cream butter and sugar very well. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until light. Whisk dry ingredients together and add to cream mixture. Add nuts and fruit. Press into pan and freeze.
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 325ºF and line cookie sheets. Remove dough from pan and cut into 4 equal strips. Slice thinly (⅛"), bake for 5 minutes, flip, and bake another 4 minutes. Cool on pan before removing.
