For the dough:
1 ¾ cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt
½ cup soft butter
2 tbsp. milk

For the crumbs:
1 cup flour
¼ cup sugar
¼ and 1 tbsp. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Also:
3 stalks rhubarb
¼ cup sugar
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 370º.
Wash rhubarb, peel and cut in small pieces. Put in water for 5-10 minutes. Take out and toss with sugar. Let stand for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Mix ingredients for dough and spread on bottom of baking pan.
Add rhubarb.
For crumbs, mix ingredients and sprinkle over the rhubarb.
Bake for 50-60 minutes.
Let cool down, add powdered sugar.
Enjoy!

This is a recipe from my grandma. It was difficult to translate from German, I hope I got the conversions right. Its perfect with a cup of hot black tea (or coffee) with cream.
