2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch salt
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained) in own juice, not syrup
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

FROSTING
½ cup butter or 1 stick
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
½ cup confectioners' (powdered) sugar
coconut for garnish (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.

2. Mix all cake ingredients and pour into greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

3. For Frosting, beat butter, cream cheese and vanilla until creamy. Gradually mix in powdered sugar. Spread over cake.

4. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and coconut (optional)
