1 pkg. Betty Crocker Date Bar Mix
2/3 c. hot water
3 eggs
1/4 c. glour
3/4 t. baking powder
2 T. light molasses
1 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. nutmeg
1/4 t. allspice
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped candied fruit
1 c. raisins

1/4 c. Kraft Apple or Currant Jelly

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
Combine date filling from Date Bar Mix pkg. with hot
water in large bowl. Add crumbly mix, eggs, flour,
baking powder, molasses and spices; blend well. Fold
in nuts and fruit thoroughly. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake about 1 hr. and 20 min.

GLAZE:
Heat jelly and pour over fruitcake. To decorate, dip the
underside of candied fruit in jelly and press lightly into
the top surface of the glazed cake.
