Directions:Preheat oven to 350º... Brown the butter and sugar in a skillet, once browned, add 3 or 4 pineapple rings, let them brown in the liquid, watch so as not to burn butter mixture, brown pineapple on both sides, remove skillet from the heat, let it cool.... Mix all the other ingredients and form a loaf... Pour pineapple and sugar mixture into a loaf pan... Put the ham loaf on top and smooth it out.... Bake for 1 1/2 hours... Cool loaf on wire rack for 5 minutes... Now get a platter and turn loaf pan upside down onto the platter, so the sugar and pineapple is on top... Notes: Serve with scalloped potatoes and a green veggie......I like French green beans with this. Add a strawberry, pretzel salad and it’s a comfort meal, oh, my!
Some people say the strawberry, pretzel salad is more like a dessert, you decide.....
You will have to have your butcher grind the ham for you, I’m sure, grind it 2 times only!
Use extra sauce to serve over the sliced ham loaf.......
