2½ c. warm water
2 tbsp. yeast
7 c. flour
1 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
1) Dissolve 2 tbsp. yeast in 2½ c. warm water, then add remaining ingredients. Mix well and knead until smooth.

2) Grease the sides of the bowl, the bottom of the bowl, and the top of the dough. Let rise until double in size.

3) Punch down and let sit for 5 minutes. Shape into French loaf and let rise. Brush with 1 egg beaten with a little cold water before baking.

4) Bake 400ºF for 25-30 minutes.
