White Rice

Per 1 cup serving
¾ cup rice
⅛ tsp salt
1⅓ cups water

Per 8 cup serving
3¾ cup rice
½ tsp salt
5 cups water

Directions:

Remove steamer basket and steamer tray insert, use inner lid only.
Rinse rice before cooking
Microwave for 11-12 minutes. (1000 watt and above, cook at 70% power level)
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
 

Brown Rice and Wild Rice

For 2 cups:
1 cup rice
3 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Remove steamer basket and steamer tray insert, use inner lid only.
Rinse rice before cooking
Microwave for 30 minutes. (1000 watt and above, cook at 70% power level)
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
 

Long Grain White and Wild Rice Blend

For 3 cups:
1 cup rice
2 cups water

Directions:

Remove steamer basket and steamer tray insert, use inner lid only.
Rinse rice before cooking
Microwave for 5 minutes on HIGH, then 15 minutes at 50% power level.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
 

Pasta

Desired amount of pasta
6-8 cups water for each 12 oz of dry pasta

Remove the steamer tray and add pasta to the steamer basket. Do not fill more than ¾ full.
Cook for suggested time on the package. Lift basket to drain.
 

Vegetables

Asparagus:
1 lb-cook for 7-12 minutes. let stand 3 minutes

Green Beans
1 lb-cook for 11-16 minutes, let stand 1 minute

Broccoli
1 lb-cook for 8-12 minutes, let stand for 2-3 minutes

Brussels Sprouts
1 lb-cook for 6-9 minutes, let stand for 3 minutes

Carrots
l lb-cook for 7-12 minutes, let stand for 3 minutes

Cauliflower florets
1 med head-cook for 7-13 minutes, let stand for 3 minutes

Corn kernels
2-3 cups-cook for 5-9 minutes, let stand for 1 minute

Peas
2 cups shelled-cook for 5-7 minutes, let stand for 1 minute

Squash
2 lbs-cook for 7-11 minutes, let stand for 3 minutes

Directions:
Directions:
Add ¼-½ cup water, with steaming tray inserted.
Place vegetables on top of steaming tray.
Cook and let stan in microwave for recommended time.
