Serves: 4
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 2 hours 15 minutes

1- Preheat oven to 350ºF.

2- Peel off the tough membrane that covers the underside of the ribs. Place on a baking sheet or tray lined with foil or parchment paper.

3- Combine garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper, cumin and 2 tsp of salt. Sprinkle seasoning over the ribs and drizzle with oil. Rub the seasoning all over the ribs on both sides. Cover the tray with foil and bake for 2 hours.

4- During the last 5 minutes of cook time, mix together the BBQ sauce, minced garlic, 2 tbsp of olive oil, Worcestershire sauce and 1 tsp of salt.

5- Remove ribs from the oven, remove the foil and spread the tops of the ribs with the BBQ sauce mixture.

6- Increase the oven temperature to 460ºF. Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, bake for 10 more minutes. Change the oven settings to broil on medium-high heat to lightly char and caramelize the edges, about 3 minutes.

7- Rest for 10 minutes to allow the juices to recirculate back into the meat before slicing.
