3 oz Water- room temperature, slightly warm

4 oz Apple Juice or Apple Cider - room temp.

1 oz Molasses

½ cup Wheat Flour

2¼ cup White Bread Flour

¾ cup Spent Grain

1 T. Butter

1 T. Powdered Milk

1½ T. Honey

1 tsp. Salt

1 T. gluten (optional)

2½ T. Yeast or 1 packet of yeast. Fresh!

(This is the order of ingredients you would use in a bread maker)

If using a bread maker use wheat bread setting, Light.

If not, mix together all dry ingredients in a large bowl EXCEPT YEAST. Mix all wet ingredients including yeast together in a small separete bowl. Let wet ingredients set until mixture looks frothy.

Combine the wet into the dry just til mixed and forming a ball. Take out of bowl and knead on a floured, flat surface. Knead until dough is smooth and elastic. Put into a greased bowl & cover with plastic wrap tightly. Put in a warm place to rise for about 2 hours. Once risen pat down.

Prepare a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Place dough in loaf pan. Bake at 350* 35-40 minutes

This is a recipe I used often when Chad was making his own beer. Their would be tons of spent grain I would freeze in 1 cup measurements in the freezer. Very tasty & super easy in a bread maker.
