2T. olive or salad oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
onion chopped
1 - 16oz can tomatoes
1 - 6oz tomato paste
1T. sugar & fennel
2t. basil & oregano
1½ t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
In 2qt. saucepan over medium heat; in oil cook garlic & onion until tender - 5 min.
Stir in tomatoes, their juice and remaining ingredients.
Reduce heat to low, cook 20 min. until thickened, stirring occasionally.
