1/3 cup unsifted flour
1/4 cup corn starch
3 eggs whites
1/8 tsp salt
1/3 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tbsp cold water
2 tbsp butter (melted)
1 cup jelly

Custard Sauce:
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp corn starch
1/4 tsp salt
2 egg yolks or 1 whole egg, slightly beaten
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Line bottom of 1 (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch) baking pan with waxed paper. Sift flour and corn starch together; seat aside. Beat egg whites and salt in large mixing bowl until foamy. Gradually add sugar; beat until stiff peaks form when beater is raised. Combine egg yolks and water in small mixing bowl; beat well then fold into egg whites. Sift flour and corn starch together again; fold into egg mixture. Fold in p. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Bake in 400 degree oven about 15 minutes or until cake toothpick test is done.
Immediately turn out onto cloth lightly dusted with confectioners sugar. Remove waxed paper. Roll up cake in cloth; cool. Unroll and spread with jelly. Roll up cake. Wrap in cloth. Cool completely on wire rack. Slice to serve.
