4 cups fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, mixed berries
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 packages buttermilk biscuit mix
3 tbsp butter (melted)
1 egg (slightly beaten)
1/2 cup milk
whipped cream or ice cream

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease well a 11 x 6 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish. Toss berries with sugar and lemon juice. Place in baking dish, dot with 2 tablespoons butter. In medium bowl combine biscuit mix, melted butter, egg and milk. Lightly mix with a fork just until combined. With a spoon drop dough over fruit. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with whipped cream.
