2 lbs cream cheese (4-8oz) (3 lbs cream cheese)
2 eggs lightly beaten (3 )
1 tsp. Vanilla (1 1/2 tsp.)
2T cornstarch (3 T )
1 cup sugar (1 1/2 C)
A dash or so of lemon juice
8 oz sour cream (3 lbs)

Directions:
Directions:
Whip cream cheese til it becomes light, add liquid ingredients than dry ingredients finally add sour cream.

Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes
Then bake at 200 degrees for 45 minutes
Leave cheesecake in oven after turning off to finish
baking until oven cools off.

You may need to put under broiler to make golden brown when done.

Karl Kennin gave me this recipe. His family came from Germany. He is a fireman with Germantown Fire Dept and I am the only one he would give it too.
The reason ingredients are in brackets is because one time when I was making it, the phone rang and when I went back to it, I forgot I added the sour cream before I answered the phone and added more. Which makes it more light and fluffy!!!
