4 pounds of apples, peeled, cored, and sliced (about 12)
1 ½ cups water
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
¼ teaspoon of ground cloves
1 cup sugar

Directions:
Peel, core, and slice apples.

In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, combine apples, water, cinnamon, and cloves. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in sugar, and simmer 5 more minutes.

Remove from heat, and allow to cool for 30 minutes, then pour about a cup at a time into food processor, and pulse 3 times, about 3 to 5 seconds each. Pour into a large bowl and repeat until all the apple mixture has been processed. Ladle into sterilized pint jars.
