2-1/2 pounds beef cut in stew-sized pieces
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup red wine
1 4-ounce can of mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.

Place beef in casserole or cast iron pan. Sprinkle with dry soup mix. Add undiluted mushroom soup and undrained mushrooms. Pour wine over top and stir.

Cover and bake for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Serve over rice.

Meat will be brown and delicious!
