Thimble Cookies Recipe

½ lb. butter
½ cup sugar
2 cups sifted flour
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla

Jam - raspberry

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together until smooth.
Wok in flour and egg yolks alternately.
Add vanilla and chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Roll dough into small balls and put on a greased cookie sheet.
Press a floured thimble ( or something that will make a small dent) into the center of each cookie and fill with jam.

Bake at 325º for 15 minutes.

Let cool.
