small onions
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp paprika
salt and pepper to taste
oil

Directions:
Directions:
Slice the top from the onions and flip over. Use a sharp knife to make cuts all the way around the onion, flip the onion over and separate the "petals". Repeat with other onions.
Combine eggs and milk in a bowl, and flour, garlic powder, paprika and salt and pepper in another. Coat the onions in egg wash, before dipping it in the dry ingredients, coating evenly. Repeat. Freeze onions for about ten minutes and heat oil to 375 degrees. Add the onions to oil for about 2 minutes or until browned. Remove from oil, drain on a paper towel and serve with dipping sauce.
