3 cups Flour
4 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
3/4 teaspoon Salt
3 tablespoons Sugar
4 tablespoons Butter, melted and divided
12 ounces bottle Beer (Yuengling is preferred)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375° F
Lightly grease a 9 x 5 loaf pan.
Mix dry ingredients, 2 tablespoons melted butter and beer until just combined. (Lumps are OK.)
Pour into pan and drizzle with remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter.
Bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of bread comes out clean.
Let cool in pan for 5 minutes. Turn out onto cooling rack. Cool completely.

Yuengling was the most neutral tasting beer. The hoppier the beer, the more you will taste the hops in the final product.

*Recipe can be done as muffins as well, bake time is less, so start with 25 minutes and watch in 5 minute increments until toothpick comes out clean.
