2 cups of wild rice
6 cups of water

Preheat oven to 450º F.

This should be prepared the night before you will use wild rice.

Use an oven safe kettle or Dutch oven and bring water to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and add wild rice. Stir well, so rice is evenly distributed. Place lid on pot, and place in preheated oven. Turn oven off. Do not remove from oven until the following morning. If there is any liquid left, drain off. Rice can be used for stuffing, soups or casseroles.
