1 box chocolate cake mix
1 tsp almond extract
1 (21oz) cherry pie filling
2 eggs beaten

Frosting:
⅓ c. milk
5 TBSP butter
1 c. sugar
1 (6oz) package of chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour a 15x10x1 jelly roll pan. Beat cake mix, cherries, almond extract and eggs with a wooden spoon until well mixed. Pour into prepared pan and bake 20-30 minutes.
Combine the milk, butter and sugar and boil for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips, stir until smooth. Pour on warm bars and cool.

Delish! I love these with a glass of cold milk! I made them in October of 2006 for the Navy's Birthday at NRD-Richmond.
