Sift together:
¾ cup sifted flour
¼ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. slat
2 tbsp. cocoa

Cream:
½ cup shortening
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
½ cup nuts
18 marshmellows
chocolate frosting

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and gradually add sugar. Blend in eggs one at a time beating after each addition. Add sifted dry ingredients to creamed mixture and mix well. Blend in vanilla and ½ cup nuts. Spread in greased and floured 12x8 inch pan. Bake in 350º oven 25 to 30 minutes. Cover top of baked bars with 18 soft marshmallows cut into fourths. Return to the oven for 3 minutes. Spread marshmallows evenly. Cool, cover with easy chocolate frosting.

Frosting: Combine ½ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup water and 2 squares chocolate in sauce pan. Let come to a boil and cook for 3 min. Add 3 tbsp. butter, 1 tsp. vanilla. Cool, blend in 1 ½ cups sifted powdered sugar. Spread over marshmallow topping, cut into bars.
