2 ½ Cups of all-purpose flour
1 Package of dry yeast
1 Teaspoon of salt
1 Cup of warm water (115 to 120 F.)
2 Tablespoons of cooking oil
Tomato sauce
2 to 3 Cups of mozzarella cheese

Toppings:
1 pound of Italian Sausage or ground pork, cooked and drained (optional)
6 ounces of pepperoni (optional)
Canadian Bacon (optional)
Ground Beef (optional)
Bacon (optional)
Onions to taste (optional)
Mushrooms to taste (optional)
Green Olives to taste (optional)
Pineapple (optional)
Black olives (optional)

In a large mixing bowl combine 1 ¼ Cups of the flour, the yeast, and salt. Stir in warm water and oil. Beat at a low speed of an electric mixer for ½ minute, scraping bowl constantly. Beat for 3 minutes at high speed. Stir in as much of the remaining flour as you can mix in with spoon. Place dough on a lightly floured surface. Kneed enough remaining flour to make a stiff dough that is elastic (kneed for 6 to 8 minutes).

For thin pizza crust: Cover dough and let rest for 10 minutes. For 12” inch pizzas, divide dough in half. On a lightly floured surface roll each half into a 13” inch circle (for 10” inch pizzas divide into thirds and roll to 11” inch circle). Transfer circles of to a greased 12” inch pizza pan or baking sheet. Build up edges slightly. Bake in a 425 F. oven for about 12 minutes or until browned. Spread cooled tomato sauce over hot crust. Sprinkle meat, vegetables, and then cheese on top of sauce. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
