5 cups sugar
5 cups flour
7 1/2 sticks butter
3 cups water
14 tbsp cocoa
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
2 1/2 tsp baking soda
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
6 eggs (beaten)
4 tsp vanilla
chocolate syrup

Icing:
4 sticks butter
8 tbsp cocoa
12 tbsp milk
4 tsp vanilla
3 lb confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 10x15 inch cake pan.
Sift flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a large mixing bowl. In a large saucepan, on medium heat melt the butter, cocoa and water. Once it comes to a boil, add all ingredients together. Once everything is mixed well. Pour into pan and bake about 50 minutes or until done. Let cake cool.

Icing:
In a saucepan melt butter with cocoa and milk. Once butter is melted, remove from heat. In a large mixing bowl combine Confectioners sugar and butter mixture alternately. Add vanilla. Once cake has cooled, spread icing on cake.
