2 Tbsp yeast dissolved in 1 C lukewarm water
2 1/2 C milk, scalded
2/3 C sugar
4 Tbsp shortening
2 tsp salt
Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Pour scalded milk over sugar, salt and shortening; cool to lukewarm. Add yeast mixture and flour (just enough flour for medium soft dough). Let rise 1 hour, or until double in bulk. Shape into rolls and let rise again. Bake at 400 for 12 to 15 minutes.
