Cookie:
1/2 c butter
1/2 c shortening
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Topping:
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350

Mix butter, shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Whisk flour, cream of tartar, salt and baking soda.
Stir into batter, mixing completely.
Shape into 1" balls, roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture, covering completely.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets, 2" apart (puff up then flatten out).
Bake 8-10 minutes
