2 ¾ cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
¾ cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

1 ½ square unsweetened chocolate
¼ soda
chocolate chips,
cashews

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients EXCEPT the chocolate and soda. Remove ⅔ of dough. Add chocolate and soda to the ⅓ portion of dough. Chill dough for 1 hour, then roll ½ of light dough into 10"x4" rectangle. Roll ½ of chocolate dough into a roll 10" long. Place on light dough and mold light dough around it. Cut dough with a thread into ½ " slices. Place 2 rounds of dough together and pinch corner for ears. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Place chocolate chips for eyes and cashew for owl's beak, to make cookie look like an owl.
