1 4 lb. chicken cut into 6-8 pieces, salt/pepper 4 tbsp butter 4 onions finely chopped 2 tbsp sweet hungarian paprika ,chicken broth as needed 1 tbsp cornstarch 1 1/2 cup sour cream

Directions:

In a large bowl pour cold water over chicken add a pinch of salt, set aside. In a skillet heat butter and some chicken skin to cook onions .Sprinkle in some paprika stir a couple minutes. Add chicken pieces to skillet, cover and cook 30-40 minutes. turn once add chicken broth 1/2 way through to moisten. Mix cornstarch with sour cream and stir in skillet. heat but do not boil, season to taste and serve
