1 lb. Butter, room temp.
3 c. Powdered Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
½ tsp. Salt
2 tbsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Cream of Tartar
5 c. Flour

**Icing**
½ c. Butter
½ c. Shortening
1½ tsp. Vanilla
5 c. Powdered Sugar
3 tbsp. Milk
Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, powdered sugar, eggs, vanilla, salt, baking soda, cream of tartar and flour. Chill dough. Roll out & Cut. Bake at 350º for 6-8 minutes.

**Icing**
Cream butter, shortening and vanilla together. Gradually add in the powdered sugar. Beat well, mixture will seem dry. Add milk on low speed. Turn to high speed and whip until light and fluffy. Spread on cooled cookies.
