1 c. shortening (part butter)
1 ½ c, sugar
2 eggs
2 ¾ c, flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening/butter with sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Mix in dry ingredients and vanilla. Shape into balls and roll in cinnamon sugar. Bake @ 350º for 8-10 minutes or until firm in the centers.

Make cinnamon sugar with 2 tsp. cinnamon and ¼ c white sugar. Use the leftovers on toast!
