¾ cup Crisco
¼ cup sugar
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp almond extract
2 eggs, separated
1½ cup flour
1 cup red raspberry jam
½ cup flaked coconut
½ cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream Crisco, salt and ¼ cup sugar until fluffy. Blend in almond extract and egg yolks. Mix in flour. Pat dough into ungreased 13x9x2" pan. Bake 15 mins. Spread hot crust with jam; top with coconut. Beat egg whites until foamy; gradually beat in ½ cup sugar until stiff peak form. Spread over coconut. Bake 25 mins. Cool on rack. Cut into squares.
