Ingredients:  
4 links smoked sausage (cut up in bite sized pieces)
1 onion (chopped)
1 medium bell pepper (chopped)
3 - 4 green onions (chopped)
2 T butter

Rice:
2 cups of rice
3 cups water
2 t salt
t butter

Directions:
Directions:
Saute sausage, onion, bell pepper, onions, and butter in large pot until bottom of pot is dark brown. Add about cup of water and stir welll, mixing burnt bottom to sausage. Add to cover rice and mix well.
Rice: Place rice in water; bring to boil. Let boil uncovered about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and cover and let cook until done.
