Tofu 1 package cubed (firm or extra firm)
2-3 tbsp avocado of vegetable oil
Pinch of salt and pepper
Sauce:
2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp miso (or additional soy sauce)
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1-3 tsp of sriracha (depending on your spice level)

Vegetables:
Broccoli
Zucchini
Sliced mushrooms (baby Bella or mixed)
Sliced red onion
OR broccoli slaw *1 pkg

Top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds

To prep the tofu:
Dry and press the tofu on paper towels prior to cooking
Use iron skillet and heat the oil. Season the tofu with salt and pepper.
Sauté the tofu. It should not stick. If it is then you may have not have cooked it enough on that side
You can also increase the amount of tofu and oil if you like.
Once tofu crisp and browned on all sides then remove from pan

Vegetables:
Heat oil and add the onions (sliced long). Then add the other vegetables and sauté lightly.

Sauce:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and whisk

Finally:
Mix the tofu, vegetables and sauce together. Top with the onions and sesame seeds

Serve over steamed jasmine rice or noodles

I came up with this recipe by putting several other recipes together. The sauce can be mixed just with noodles or tofu or chicken or anything you want Asian style. Every time I make this the entire family loves it. Even my meat eating husband and boys love it. We love you and hope you enjoy cooking this together. I think one of the keys is cooking in an iron skillet. It really cooks the tofu nicely.
