1/2 c. sugar
1 T. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. vinegar
1/3 c. boiling water
1 can beets (or can use fresh)
2 T. butter
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar with cornstarch and salt. Add vinegar and boiling water. Cook until sauce is clear. Add beets and butter. Makes 4 servings.
