4 tbsp unsalted butter
2 c quartered fresh strawberries
2 c fresh blueberries
2 c fresh raspberries
1/4 c granulated sugar
1/4 c dark brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
dash of nutmeg; fresh or ground
1/4 c water or apple juice
powder sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat a large saute pan over medium heat. Add butter, melt and swirl to coat pan.
Add the fruit, sugars and spices; toss to coat in the butter.

Add water or apple juice and stir. Simmer until the fruit is lightly tender approx 8-10 minutes.
**Serve on top of pancakes, crepes, plain greek yogurt, French toast or ice cream; Garnish with powdered sugar.
