2 3/4 C flour
1 1/2 c sugar
1 c butter, softened
2 eggs
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp brandy extract
1/2 tsp rum extract

Sugar Mixture:
1/4 c sugar
1 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.

In a large mixing bowl; combine sugar and butter; cream together well. Add, eggs and extracts, mix together well.

Measure out and mix together; flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Add to the creamed mixture and mix for 2-4 minutes, till a nice dough forms.

Chill dough for 1 hour or until dough is stiff enough to form 1-inch balls. Roll balls in sugar and nutmeg mixture and place on an uncreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes, or until edges are just light brown. Remove to cooling racks.
