1 c butter flavored Crisco
1 c peanut butter
1 c brown sugar, packed
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c milk
2 tsp vanilla
3 1/4 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
72-90 chocolate kisses or stars, unwrapped
sugar for rolling cookies in

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º.

Cream together in mixing bowl; butter crisco, peanut butter, brown sugar, 1 cup sugar. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, milk and vanilla.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until just blended. Dough will be stiff

Form dough balls; about 1 inch wide; roll in sugar. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Press chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie; immediately before cookie set. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove to a cooling rack.
