8 bread slices
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 bananas, sliced or 1/2 C favorite jam
3 eggs
1 C milk
1 tsp vanilla
Butter
Powdered Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, beat the eggs, milk and vanilla until blended. Set aside. Make 4 cream cheese and banana (or jam) sandwiches. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Dredge the sandwiches in the egg mixture and cook in buttered pan until both sides are golden brown. Cut into diagonals and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Fresh berries would be a great addition too.

Another incredibly decadent and easy breakfast. I like these made with homemade blazzberry or apricot pineapple jam too. I found this recipe on cafecreosote.com many years ago.
